Luggage Rules

The import of alcoholic beverages and items for their illegal manufacture into the territory of the Utrenny oil and gas condensate field is prohibited.

Any excess, oversized and overweight luggage will be admitted for carriage provided there is luggage capacity available in the aircraft. Passengers will have to pay for such luggage unless this has been agreed with the carrier and paid together with the booking.

Each checked luggage item must have proper packing to safeguard the luggage during the flight and ordinary handling to prevent any harm to other passengers, cabin crew, third parties or any damage to the aircraft, other passengers’ luggage or other properties.

No luggage will be admitted to carriage when not meeting the requirements in this section.

Passengers are discouraged from placing fragile and perishable items, money, jewelry, precious metals, securities and other valuables, business documents, keys and other similar objects in the checked luggage.

Passengers may take fragile objects, ones that require special precautions during the carriage (small-size portable tape-recorders, computers, radio receivers, TV sets, crystalware, etc.) in the cabin subject to the carrier’s consent.

Over the free luggage allowance and at no charge, passengers may take the following items on board without placing them into hold luggage:

A handbag or a brief case

A paper folder

An umbrella

A walking stick / cane

A bunch of flowers

Outer garments

Paper prints to read during the flight

Baby food to be used during the flight

A mobile phone

A camera

A video camera

A laptop

A suit holdall

Flight baby cot

Crutches, a stretcher or a wheelchair for passengers with reduced mobility.

No items can be admitted for carriage in the checked luggage, which may cause damage to the aircraft, persons or properties on board, as well as animals and birds, insects, fish seeds, reptiles, rodents, test and diseased animals, as well as items and substances prohibited for carriage in checked luggage by the Russian laws, Russia’s international treaties and the laws of the countries aircrafts fly to, from or via.

It is prohibited to bring in alcohol or any items that can be used for illegal alcohol production in the South Tambey License Area.
