Sabetta International Airport is the winner of "Air Gates of Russia" National Award

On the 8th February 2017 in the framework of the fourth National Exhibition of the Infrastructure of Civil Aviation NAIS – 2017 for the third time took place the awards ceremony of the airports - prize-winners of the award "Air Gates of Russia". Sabetta International Airport is recognized as the winner in nomination "Best Russian Airport in 2016" (in the category of "Regional Airports", less than 0,5 million passengers per year). NAIS is the largest exhibition in Russia and CIS dedicated to the development of civil aviation infra-structure and supported by Russian aviation authorities: Ministry of Transport of Russia, Russian Fed-eral Air Transport Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The award was established by the organizing Committee of the NAIS, Federal Agency of Air Transport and industry portal AVIA.RU. The Expert Council of the award consists of the representatives of the leading Russian airlines: Aeroflot, UTair, S7, Ural Airlines; leaders of different professional associations; leading professional aviation journalists and others. The main nomination - "Best airport" award is given taking into account the categories of airport capacity. The evaluation is based on criteria that objectively reflects the work of airport terminals and services: quality customer service (passengers and airlines), operational performance, transport safety and security, non-aviation activities of airports and stuff, and so on.
